July 24 2009 Pakistan. Almost 3000 systems have been installed through "solar homes technology" in the rural areas of Sindh, electrifying thousands of homes in the province. This was stated by speakers of a seminar on "Micro Financing Credit for Promotion of Solar and Wind Power Technology in Sindh," organised by Environment & Alternative Energy Department (EAED) of Government of Sindh at a local hotel.
