EnviroSpectra Welfare Society's Take On Global Warming

This is Vishal Gupta, an filmmaker based in Mumbai,  I make documentary films for NGO's and on other social issues. I was going through your website and found the cause raised by you very interesting, so  i wanted to know more about your NGO, it would be gr8 if i get to know in brief about your take on Global Warming.

Dear Mr. Vishal Gupta,

We are glad to find that Film Makers are taking interest in environmental protection efforts; we would like to get more details of your organization.

EnviroSpectra Welfare Society has been registered by a group of pro-environment personnel to create awareness amongst the masses to take care of the environmental aspects and ascertain the sustainable development. This is very young organisation.

These volunteers are working in their leisure time using their own resources including financial. For convenience of members and all intellectuals surfing for environment related information, a website http://www.envirospectra.org has been launched. One may reach to this site using  http://www.envirospectra.com as well. The communication is maintained to reach and interact with knowledgeable personnel having interest to protect environment. We have interest to interact with small buds in kinder-garden, school and college going students, teachers, intellectuals, workmen, villagers and peasants etc. We want to emphasize more on 90% of the population who are less informed and could contribute a lot for improvement of environmental conditions. We feel that present act of them is due to ignorance unlike the few entrepreneurs who take shelter of flaws and loopholes in rules and regulations through consultants to get wavers or justification without doing needful  regarding environmental measures.

Our ground work is presently slow but likely to gain momentum and try to reach the 90% population with the hope to educate them and seek cooperation ensuring a better future for everyone by curbing pollution and restoring the ever declining/degrading water tables, rivers and the climate(Rain, Winter, Spring and Summer).

We feel, once 90% population become pro-environment/sustainable development, the rest 10% with present major polluting sources would have no room to pollute Air, Water Streams, Sub-surface water and be forced to adopt environment friendly ways for their operations or else face these 90%. Additionally, it would also be our endeavour to interact with polluting agencies and pollution controlling bodies as well to seek their cooperation and restore the natural environment.

As desired to know our take on Global Warming (GW) – following brief views might give some idea
Global Warming are not simply two words with which EnviroSpectra started to express its Aim but these contain the big historical information, big technological application, the great scientific analytical procedures and much more than that to understand that how to Treat, Tolerate, Transfer or Terminate the effects of Global Warming. Later, we would like to share the results of a study conducted on Abatement of Green House Gas Emission using CDM.
