This was stated by speakers of a seminar on "Micro Financing Credit for Promotion of Solar and Wind Power Technology in Sindh," organised by Environment & Alternative Energy Department (EAED) of Government of Sindh at a local hotel.
In the present era when demand of material and facilities has grown several manifolds due to increase in population and changing lifestyle, it is not possible to compromise with the developmental activities; however, we can’t even think to allow rise in GHG (Green House Gases) emission for obvious reason. So a balance has to be worked upon and a consensus arrived at among the Population, Developmental activities and Pollution in form of emission / discharge. We have been already experiencing the losses and have fairly good predictions of unintended mega loss if the pollution and population is not controlled at various levels and stages. There are several ways and steps required to be taken by one and all and we shall keep talking about them in various form.

Panaji : The crucial environment impact assessment reports, based on which mining companies are given green clearances, are rigged and very often are 'cut and paste' jobs, Goa's Environment Minister Aleixo Sequeira said Tuesday.
The Goa government had ordered probe into all the 105 environment impact assessment reports filed by the mining companies to check for such fraudulent data, Sequeira said at an environment conference here.
"I agree that there are several mining firms which do not tell truth in their environment impact assessment reports which they submit to the government," the minister said.
